Sorry for my start of this thread. I had been awake for two days from wondering what to do. I had to work the next morning very early but I wouldn't have functioned properly. I don't drink often at all and lunesta cost too much. But back on subject, today was my 40th day on the love dare and I finally told my wife what I have learned from it. I never thought I was such a loser, until I forced my self to look inside. I wasn't always such a dope. I was my wife's strength and love. But we were stressed by the wrong things(bills, work, ect) and started ignoring our love for one another. It is my fault. But thanks for the support. I have to say there is not a use by date on love. You have to fight for it with the right tools. Compassion, unselfishness, eagerness to accept love, and a strength to not stop.

So my wife wants to end our marriage. Over the past two years we have been pissed off at one another. We didn't see it happening until now. I want to save it, and I believe she does too. I need a new perspective. I've tried everything I can think of too get her to fall in love with me again. Any ideas are greatly appreshiated. Sorry for any spelling problems. I am quite inebreated at the moment. It's the only way too quiet my mind too night. I may be a lurker but I trust yalls opinions. Thanks for any advice. I am desperate and need sleep. I love this woman more than anything. Please help me.

I traded a 99.5 Jetta with 107k miles for a 2001 XJ with 206k miles about 5 months ago. Right now its got 209k and the only thing that's wrong with it is one injector is a little funny. I don't think I would worry about a 0331 head that much. If you like it buy it, if you don't then don't. I just got a Jeep bug from somewhere. Stupid Comanche jeez. Oh well. I would rather change a head on a Jeep as apposed to a transmission on a Jetta.

Alright my Jeep has been not warming up right in over 8 months. This problem started after it began overheating back in April. I changed the thermostat out and it began this stupid "I'm not going to warm up and run like crap." Since then I have replaced thermostat 4 times with different brands and I know to use a 195 degree or the Renix system will run rich. I've flushed it twice. Thermal fan is good. E-fan is good. Burped it properly. Top radiator hose is barely warm. The heater blows lukewarm air. It is starting to get cold for around here and I need some heat. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad its not overheating but it is still a problem. I want to fix in right, not put a piece of cardboard in it. Its not that cold, the truck should run correctly. If you have some idea please let me know. I have searched here, Naxja, and a few others. I even googled it with no avail. Thanks for any help.

Bulb replacement for interior dome light
danboone5 replied to cicelyak's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
There is no difference between 12v and 13.5v in a vehicle that uses a 12v alternator. The alternator puts out between 13.5 and 14.5 volts. Every part for our trucks should be able to use voltages between 11 and 15 volts. So get one that fits and it should work fine. As far as the watts go 7w is factory. The wiring should be able to handle many more watts than 7. The wires are thicker gauge than a lot of speaker wire and most of that is rated for a lot more watts. I think that the head light wiring is the same gauge if not very close and it handles 55w headlights with no problems. Just my two cents though. -
Check your plug wire boots on the plug end. They have a tendency to separate above the metal sleeve. Check your coil pack for cracks. These can open and short out when heated. Vacuum line to the fuel pressure reg. from the intake. Just changed the motor in one two days ago, and I had all of these problems. Also just check the water pump when you can cause the impeller can separate from the pump shaft and overheat the motor without warning. Just remove the thermostat when its cooled down and see if you can move the impeller with your fingers. If it even wiggles a small amount replace it. I got left on the side of the road because of this. Just thought I would throw that in there because it really sucks if it does happen.

From what I've been told in paramedic class, most meds in pill form can be absorbed through the skin if a form of moisture is present. But the amount absorbed usually must be in larger quantities for effect. Meds like nitroglycerin are easily absorbed. But a pill is meant to be injested for the desired effect. I wouldn't try it. But as for the stings, nicotine in tobacco can be absorbed through the skin ( i.e. nicotine patches). Be careful around around the stinging insects from now on. Anaphalatic shock is not a good thing at all. Don't ever forget that epi-pen and keep it in date. It could seriously save your life if another sting happens. Your body may over-react to the antigen next time it occurs. Sorry for the rant but I've been around too many of these allergic reactions happened that could have been alleviated more easily if only they had their epi-pen available or in date. Don't become complacent with your epi-pen just because its not used everyday. (end of rant)

Sorry CW. I suck at typing.

Thanks CE but they are an aftermarket Riax rim. The website said that they have the 5 & 5/8 BS. But thanks for the info. I have 1.5in spacers for the front and some Chevy drop shackles for the rear. Just not installed yet. Only reason for the change in rim size is because of tire price. Here 15s cost a lot more than 16s. So long run I would save money. I really want some Libby renegade rims. But I can't find any around here.
-
I finally found some 16in rims, 5 on 4.5, but they have 5 & 5/8in. backspacing. Will that cause any problems, without using wheel spacers, with 265/75 R16 tires. I'm going to buy the rims anyways because I can get them for dirt cheap. (guy got tired of them taking up room in his garage) Thanks in advance.

Well I would let you show me how to break it down but that wouldn't be a fun ride.

By the way you know, you know where Rainsville is? Small world I guess.

The top and bottom ones. The side hole is intact. Sorry for the lack of pictures, but the camera was stolen about 2wks ago. One of the busted holes is non-threaded. Had a thought of using 3.5 in bolts but I didn't know if it would work or not, considering it is only the outer portion of cast that is broken off.
-
How do you tear down the power steering pump off of a 4.0 renix motor. Mine is growling at me so my uncle gave me one that is brand new but two of the bolt holes are broken so the company wouldn't replace it. Thanks ahead of time.
-
Thanks guys. I did google it but tire sizes always confuse me. Had an uncle offer them to me for free if I would change out the wheels on his truck. He said the rims were a small pattern ford. Thought the wheels might make a good trail set, but they're big pattern. Anywho, changed his wheels and traded them for a set of 5 nearly new 245/75 R15's. These will work well on my mj though. Thanks again. Daniel

What is a comparable height to a G60-15 tire. I can't find anyone who knows. Thanks in advance.
-
Just admired it. Wait till you guys see my floorpans though. Some of you will cry.
-
yes to all. I drove it about a week ago when he said he was going to part it out. He has sold the body and motor and he's going to scrap the tranny in about.
-
Crap. What about the 231 tc on it. Sorry sometimes stupidity overwhelms me when I forget to sleep. Thanks in advance.
-
thanks guys I had a guy at work offer me one for $50. I don't need it just thought I might get it in case someone else might need it but obviously I would be losing money in the long run. Thanks again.

90 Comanche rear drum brakes (again)
danboone5 replied to pioneerpilot's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Sorry guys, I meant too type our 10in rear brakes share a lot of the same parts as 10in Ford rear brakes. A lot of Fords have the d44 rear. Just learned that at work last week from a Chrysler mechanic. So a lot of these misc. parts can be found if you look under a Ford 10in. -
90 Comanche rear drum brakes (again)
danboone5 replied to pioneerpilot's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Just did my rear brakes two weeks ago. Mine are the 10in drums also. You must have the push rods or they will not work. Mine had a blown wheel cylinder and were missing the push rods and the brake bar. Most of the parts on the 10in are the same as a does 10in. Push rods are I'm sure of. The brake bar I had to fab.the Dorman bar was just a little small. If you need any more info just send a PM. -
Had this puppy for 2 years now and just found this site. I had thought I was the only person who knew these fine beast exist. Glad to be wrong. Planning on building one one of these days. Might be able to do it now that I work at O'Reilly's. Makes parts affordable. To those who know what's great.
