  1. Do y'all think I should try and save the gauges or just do a cluster upgrade? IMO with the club and all I think id have an easier time just replacing the cluster with one without idiot lights Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  2. I had just done most of cruisers tips when I did the valve cover. I cleaned everything I could [emoji23] I'm a Comanche noob but I'm pretty sure that's what's causing it. I cleaned the whole block after the gasket and I'm sitting here with a ton of oil/fluid on that spot only Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  3. I just replaced my valve cover gasket with a felpro one. Even after the replacement I had oil spitting on the block. If there's any way I could use these sensors it'd be great. But honestly, my engine bay is loaded with extra wires and connectors with no other end Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  4. I'm not great at posting so please look at the text below the pic before responding. Sorry for the s**** pictures it's dark out here in NY [emoji23] Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  5. I forgot to mention, the PO put in these... Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk The top right is temp (doesn't work) the middle is oil psi (I think it works?) And the bottom left is battery (doesn't work). Aka, my PO did a LOT of wiring. Including a fan and a spotlight
  6. It looks like it needs to be replaced, it's on the passengers side right below the dipstick. I believe that it may be causing the oil spew on the side of the block. I hope it's that and not the head gasket, unless that part is even more of a PITA to replace [emoji23] Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  7. Sure thing man Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  8. I plan on using this because of recommendations from fellow club members who also have the pukegoat, also got another gallon (the non NS) for my differential, but I'm still waiting on my lubelocker so eventually I'll get to that [emoji23] Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  9. Thank you guys for the quick replies, looks like I'm gonna have to buy the sockets as I have no way to grind them down. I just wish I bought them when I bought all the gear oil lol Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  10. Noob question, I have no doubt this has been asked before, this is the trans drain plug correct? And that square bit is a 5/16 (8mm)? Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  11. I just bought a set of 6 refurbished Bosch 746s off eBay for 40 bucks free shipping. I was a bit sceptical at first but they ended up being real nice quality, no leaks, no stuck open valves. The seller is autopa7337 ( I have no affiliation with them just tryin to put my 2 cents in) Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  12. Does anyone know of a good supplier for the weatherproofing gaskets? Ive been looking around and i can't seem to find anyone who sells them (besides door weatherstripping). I don't want to go to the JY and get a used gasket that will be toast in a year, id love new ones if its even possible, I believe it's the C100 gasket and the smokers window seals specifically.
  13. Thank you for the replies! I checked all the injectors and was about to pull them back out and swap them but it turns out i busted the line on my MAP sensor and as soon as i replaced it i had zero issues.
  14. I read something on an XJ forum that says if you reset the ECU it will be in "learning mode" for the next 50 warm up cycles, does that mean it will eventually correct itself or do I get to start diagnosing? Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  15. So I just replaced my fuel injectors with some Bosch 4 port ones (mine still had all the stock one port ones) and I started it up and it immediately stalled out. I got it running and it ran like s*** for about 10 minutes then seemed to fix itself. I took it for a ride right down the street and it stalled out twice, both times at a stop sign. Did I mess something up or will it eventually fix itself? Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks a ton Pete, I appreciate the answers to my noob questions lol Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  17. I did a couple searches and apparently you can use 75, 80 or even 140. Would using the redline I linked with GL-5 be harmful to the gears? Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  18. Just wondering if I bought this it would be fine in a Dana 35 https://www.amazon.com/Red-Line-57905-75W90-GL-5/dp/B000J3ASP0?th=1&psc=1 Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  19. Ive been looking around on the forum and I know these questions have been asked already but I want to be 100% sure before I go dumping the wrong gear oils in. The BA10/5 takes 75w90 gl5? And a Dana 35 would take the same? Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  20. Is that all of them?? Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks guys! It rained like crazy overnight and I had puddles of water on both sides of the floor, looks like it's time to re seal the cab. Any seals in particular that are prone to fail? I don't believe anyone has changed out any of the seals or gaskets so they're probably all bad Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  22. Good thing I double checked on that. And I'm right there with ya, no carpets for me I wanna see my beautiful new floors. Didn't expect the paint to be so bright but I'm kinda into it Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks WesD! I didn't have time yesterday so hopefully today I can do the same to the bottom of the floorpans since it came out so nice. I was going to use rubberized undercoating underneath but I read somewhere that as soon as the rubber beings to wear out it actually traps moisture instead? Is that right? Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
  24. Installed 4 Kenwood speakers and a JVC radio and found out the PO cut the s*** out of the door to fit 6.5 inch speakers... Also painted the floors with some Rust-Oleum rusty metal primer and plan to enamel tomorrow unless it needs another coat.
  25. The floors are coming along nicely! Now it just needs the top of the rail fabricated and the passenger's side patched (and then POR15 of course) Sent from my moto e5 play using Tapatalk
