Oh, I'm going with the good old radiator with a neck. I am removing the pressure bottle and replacing that with an overflow bottle.
-
It is the head gasket. Mr Eagle, yes it is the closed system. I had burped it, but that doesn't help when the head gasket is blown.

Well darn. Still blowing hoses. I watched some youtube videos. One guy warned that you need to make sure that the impeller is the right one. I guess I'll check that next.
-
I also found out that you can overfill the system. A mechanic at work told me that the best way to fill my system is to take the top radiator hose off and fill it through the hose. Poor the antifreeze in, then add water until it flows out of the radiator neck. That worked just fine.

Thank you everyone. I replaced my radiator and the pressure bottle. The radiator had a small leak. It looks like it had been leaking for a while.

I did some research, it says 1.5 gallons, then add water if needed. I'm going to try that after changing the rest of the hoses. Thanks

Am I overfilling my system. I have a few issues since I changed my water pump. My pickup blew a hose so I replaced it, and so it blew another. I pulled the thermostat and filled it back up. Today on the way home it blew another hose. Am I over filling it?

I would like o buy the under dash HVAC parts as well as the dash controls for the air-condition and heater. I would also like to buy the bottom trim piece that runs the length of the dash and connected to the ashtray.

I got the system installed and charged. Today was my first trip to work and back. The temperature was 107 when I clocked out from work. I had that sucker turned all the way up. I'm sure glad it works. -
After I replaced the headliner and cleaned the carpets, seats and heater ducts it smells much better.

I bought the entire system. I didn't know the factory systems were available, so i bought one that was recommended for the Comanche. -

Where can I buy a vent window latch?

I took it in and had new tires put on it. I even replaced the spare tire, it had the original tire on it, and dry rot had the best of it. I put the spare under the bed but that little cable seemed a bit sketchy so I ratchet strapped it for added safety.

This is my 1998 Jeep Comanche Pioneer. I bought it in Brighton Colorado in late May 2019. It is my daily driver and my project. My other pickup is a 1956 Chey Apache. It is big and slow, perfect for heavy jobs, but I needed an everyday pickup. This is a perfect fit.
