  4. 1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer RWD/4.0/AW4/D35 3 owner Comanche originally purchased in Orlando, FL. PO bought it from original owner in ‘06 and it lived in Stuart, FL until I brought it back home to Orlando earlier this month. Build date: Unknown, sticker missing when purchased Condition: It runs and I currently drive it 2 or 3 times a week. It’s drives straight and is virtually rust free, but it does need some work. I’m having it inspected by a Jeep specialty shop in a couple of weeks to find any hidden problems/issues I’ve yet to discover (I don’t have the time to comb through it myself). Notes: It’s pretty much all original. Column shifter, rear slider, tilt steering, grey interior with cloth bench seat, factory bed liner, tonneau cover. It’s been painted (original color was a dark gray/slate/gun metal), has a fabricated tube style rear bumper and has an R134a conversion. There’s also a switch on the dash that has an image of the transmission and a little indicator light. Switched on its “power” and switched off it’s “comfort.” The switch appears to work as the light comes on, but I’ve not driven it with the switch on.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’m definitely interested. I’m having some issues with the vacuum lines that control the vents on my 88 Pioneer. I’ve got it jimmy rigged, but I’m afraid the repair isn’t gonna last.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I had this problem, and thanks to the forum I was able to isolate it. My canister has two tubes. I inspected and replaced one labeled "vac" that routes to the three way connector. The second hose was severed near its connection going through the firewall. I taped it up and got it to work, restoring function of the vents. However, I don't reckon this is gonna last. What are thoughts on using heat shrink tubing for a more secure repair? Best bet on getting a replacement?? can't find what this part is called for the life of me.
