  1. Wanted: 33x12.50 15 Dayton Timberline MT... New, good, decent, fair, holds air? All I need is 1 for a matching spare. Interested in what you have....Thanks, Scott
  2. Yeah, We covered ALL the bases. I'm an old fart, It's not my first time around the block, that's for sure.. ;)
  3. Don't worry about that, I already have. I'm on them like stink on....smelly stuff.
  4. Yeah, Sure did a number on the old girl! I know the shackles are twisted, but all the mounts look ok. I won't know for sure on that, or the frame until I get it put on the rack. Keep your fingers crossed. They did have liability insurance, but I haven't heard from them yet as to what they will pay....if anything. The way my luck goes, I'll be in for a fight with their insurance.
  5. My wife was driving the Comanche home from work the other day, and got whacked right on the back tire by a Neon. Knocked the rear axle almost plum out of the truck. Thankfully neither party was hurt. The truck is banged up a bit, but I'm going to FINALLY get the 44 put in it. It's only been sitting in my garage for a year. Time for some other improvements while it's in the shop too...Anyway, here's a couple of pictures...Scott Image Not Found Image Not Found

  9. Naw, I'm with Pete. Pass me a cold one
  10. I'm presently working on putting something together. However, I'm in school full time, so things are going really slow. I have a doner from the same year, so things have been pretty straight forward so far. Beside the mechanical stuff, I took the harness from the fuse box all the way around the front back to the firewall. (You won't need the headlight harness)The harness plugs right into what is already there. You will need the relay, and the plug from the donor. I have the harness from the controls to the thermostat(under the dash). I believe it also connects to the existing wiring. but I haven't yet taken the dash in my truck apart, so I can't be sure. I will have pictures, and a write up as soon as I can. That's as far as I have gotten so far. I hope that helps a little. If there is any other info that I'm missing, please let me know. Scott
  11. Forgot to mention, I've got the Rough Country Set....Well, I took my lazy keester outside this morning, and crawled under the truck. I now see why the braces won't work. Had I actually gone out and looked yesterday, I would have answered my own question  Doh...Wish I could use the braces though. I think they look kinda cool...Oh well....Thanks guys!
  12. I'm pretty sure I saw a post about installing XJ control arm drop brackets on an MJ. Tried searching, but I couldn't find anything. Anyone got a link to the thread? Thanks, Scott
  13. If you're looking for somewhere dry to go, we have plenty of camping spots, Mudfest is coming up on the 6th, I'm an hour away from Hannibal Rocks offroad park, and 15 miles from Camp Eddie. Any one wanting to get away for a while, Come on up! Scott http://www.midillinoismudfest.com/ www.rorp.com Scott
  14. 5 Grand for the cup holders? I have the same console, and cupholders. I'd take 5 grand, and I'd even throw in the beer. :D ...Scott Oh, BTW, I know you aren't serious ;) Image Not Found

  16. Here is my current MJ. At this point, I'm still getting to know it, So I'll leave all the details untill I get everything sorted out. Here is a link to My other Comanches, both past and present, Sorry that they are out of order, but I couldn't figure out how to move them within the album:

    Too Cool

Who is he? I'd like to talk with him about the details. I have been seriously thinking about doing a 4bt conversion in my 91 YJ....Scott

    Too Cool

Don't know who this is, or where he's from, but I thought it was too cool not to share..If you've already seen it, well, it's too cool not to watch again..I want this drivetrain in my jeep...Scott
  19. I just have a few odds and ends left. Most of it has already gone to the scrap yard. Sure miss that truck. I hope this one will be as nice...eventually ;) I only had a few scratches, But it was quite the ride!
  20. Yeah, It happened at about 50mph. Truck held up very well all in all...Saved my butt! I had this truck for 8 years, and it was very reliable, and was just the way I wanted it.
  21. It was april of 2005. I still have parts of it laying around. I just can't bring myself to get rid of what's left of it. ...But now I have another one, hopefully it will be as nice some day..Scott
  22. After doing some more digging, I think without changing the header panel, It will just be a bigger pain than it's worth. I know that replacement parts arent that expencive, so I'll probably go that way. Thanks for the input...Scott
  23. Does any one know if I can put an 88 grille on my 92? I know they are made different, but will it work without a bunch of modifications? I'm changing from black to chrome, so I will be using ALL the chrome from the front of the 88.
  24. First of all, I'd like to thank feerocknok for going the extra step to clear things up! I just thought I'd add this. Bushwhacker makes some pretty nice looking flares for the MJ http://www.bushwacker.com/fender.asp?ma ... rch=Search They list the same part number as the 2 door XJ. Maybe this is where some of the confusion has come from. But you have to keep in mind, These are "cut-out" flares. You have to cut out a pretty good chunk of fender to get these to work. And as illustrated in the photos from feerocknok, the stock ones are definately different from the XJ.....Scott
  25. Thanks guys for all the info...I have almost all the stuff needed as I saved almost everything salvagable from my '87.(R.I.P. ) I just have a YJ ax5, and was concerned about compadibility. I do however think I may have misplaced the x-fer case shifter, so if I can't find it, I may need another one of those....Scott
