Reviving an old topic again. I was just curious if I could have front tow hooks and a front receiver hitch? TIA.

Motor mounts are done and files saved for 360 motors on a Comanche. They mounts will be for sale too. I found an AX15/242. I also have all the Street Comanche parts. Wheels, kit, and grill. Once the metal work is finished it will be reassembled. Just need to get a project out of the way.

$1,200 Dually Conversion Kit in NE
cquinnball replied to H3ADBANG4L1F3's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Does anyone on CC have this kit in their parts collection? -
It’s still a roller right now. Been waiting a long time for my new motor mounts. I had two 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9Ls that I pulled the motors from. #96 will look the same as always from the outside just will have a 5.9L 360 in it. I have all the metal, engine, interior, center line wheels, body kit (will be made of fiberglass), grill, and bell housing. Just need a transmission. Been looking for an AX15 or a NV3550. If anyone has one on or near Long Island NY. Does anyone refurbish or have a write up on refurbishing HVAC boxes? I am sorry I don’t have a better update but it will be moving forward once I have those motor mounts.

Okay awesome. Is there no options to buy new bolts that work?
-
Anyone have the exact dimensions for all the bolts needed to secure the bed to the frame? I know some are studs some are bolts. Mine are broken, rusted, etc. thank you in advance.

Is the plexi glass replaceable in these? So if you have a red one or broken can it be removed and replaced?
-
are the brackets easy to recreate?

Just getting back here. Looks like this listing expired. Thank you for sharing.

Oh man, a typo. Don’t know how to change it.

Thank you for responding. Those are nice, do they have the fold forward function? Looks like a 4dr. Maybe it is easy to convert to a folding seat?

Thank you very much for the input! I really appreciate it.

I have read a lot of posts about the D44a swap and how it is not a good axel and people are better off with a D35. I am building a fast parking lot princess. I will not be crawling it so I am not worried about the aluminum section of it. I had a junked JGC 5.9L and I pulled both axels, engine, and trans. I assume the D44a does not bolt up but do I need to cut off all brackets and weld on new? Will the tube length work in the Comanche? Thank you

Thank you for responding. It helps understand that there may be an application for it but just not in my case. I can see how it can be useful in some cases.

Thank you for responding. I was thinking it wouldn't be worth it. Thank you again.

Has anyone used stock buttons that work when holding down for a push button start? I realize it would take longer to engage the acc then move my hand to the button. I was just curious. Any other accessories that we can run off stock switches? I was thinking fogs, roll bar lights, electric fan and then the last a start but maybe there is something more useful that I haven't thought of. Thank you in advance.

Okay. whenever I read about a drop no one seemed to mention the track bar. Just wanted to double check. Thank you!!

I am putting V8 ZJ coils up front. Would I need a different track bar? I was planning to get an adjustable track bar but they seem like they are for lifts of 0-3” to start. thank you

Curious if lowering a Comanche requires a new track bar. Just doing the V8 coils in front. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I am looking for the seats in the below picture in both tan and black. I would like it if they came from a Comanche or a a 2dr XJ so they fold forward. I am also looking for the full size consoles in the same colors. Thank you for your time.
