I don't mean to highjack but it's sorta on the same track. I run 35's and I know a spare 35 won't fit so I have been thinking of what else I could use that space for. one idea was a co2 tank underther but i am not sure if that is exactly safe and I was told the tanks have to mounted upright. the other idea was some type of storage cabinet like those tuffy boxes for the back of wranglers. anyone got another idea? allen

I viewed jcr's website and watched there video of them in the shop. I spotted a mj on the lift. so I asked what was up. They are working on sliders for mj's and a rear bumper keep your eyes open in the future. maybe give them a buzz and let them now there is a mj intrest. allen I goofed maybe this should be posted in a different topic section

how are those mj long bed sliders coming along? just wondering it's been a while since I've seen you around here. allen

When I moved last year I had 1300 lbs in the back of my long bed, it squated nicely , the steering was really light. and the distance to stop was increased of course but it didn't seem dangerous.

thanks for the help is there really three torx bolts I can only make out 2. is the 3rd above or below the 2? thanks

Inthe middle of moving my family this weekend, my tailgate latch breaks in the closed position. I need some help with this, first my bed is rhino lined and the idiots that did it sprayed over the bolts in the bed. Is that the only 2 bolts on the bed side? and is there a access panel or is it just the bolts that hold the latch in? After I get the latch out what am I going to be fishing for, is it a cable that goes from the latch to the mechanism on the bed side? how can I fix the cable system do I just need to get a whole set from a donor? Thanks for any help guys

Now this is awsome, sounds like we are close to some fab work. and we got some good feedback on L/B rails. Mark, looks like you are going to have a waiting list for these rails before you ever get them fabbed. I 'd like to be put on that list! :D on a side note I can't really tell in the pic but do the rails you have now stick out far enough to be used as a step? allen

I am really glad I started poking around here and asking questions. I got a few guys to possible arange something to get us some LWB MJ stuff. The slyders are on my need now list. the rear bumper, I know how some of you feel. I have a smitty built tube bumper that hangs low with a built in 2" reciever, like I would tow anything off that! mark please keep us posted on the developements and any need for assistance. Allen

Any of you guys live near conneticut? I E-mailed detours and asked if they were going to make rock sliders and rear bumpers for the long bed mj's. their reply was they can't find a descent long bed that isn't rusting away to use as a template. I was just wondering if some one on here lived near them could take in their L/B Mj for them to use. If you haven't seen their mj products you should take a look. the rear bumper is a low profile design that goes good with the body lines and they are the only ones that I have seen to produce an actual rock slider for the MJ. allen
