  1. Hi all.been awhile.hope all is well.so i changed the oil pan plug out with a magnetic plug but the thing leaks so not the right one.didnt do the ol take part off read whats on there get same part ideal haha old plug thrown away.would any one be kind enough and smart enough to enlightenment me on the exact plug i need for a 1989 comanche 6 cyl please and thanku

Oh and it wasnt seeping from any rust hole.it was just coming out of shiney metal.i sanded the rust spots down alittle though and it showed metal but where it was seeping there wasnt any rust even remotely by it so idk what thats about but i patched it and its still holding Sent from my LG-V410 using Tapatalk
  3. Well i tried the steam engine method now it won't turn on haha jk.i did do it ever so slowly not sure if it worked or not yet.I'm letting the truck cool down.hopefully if it didnt help hopefully it didnt hurt it.well see tomorrow Sent from my LG-V410 using Tapatalk

  6. Welp after putting in a new fuel pump it ran good for couple weeks now i have gas seeping out one of the few rust spots on the bottom of tank [emoji1] keeping it interesting for sure Sent from my LG-V410 using Tapatalk

  9. Hey all!so I'm trying to set the timing on the distributor due the comanche stopping hard when turning key off.I'm not exactly sure how to do it on my 1989 4.0 manual.can i just loosen the bolts and turn it alittle until it sounds right??? Sent from my LG-V410 using Tapatalk

Update of sorts.so after cleaning the throttle body i now can accelerate up steep hills in fifth gear which is what i was aiming for..wooo!haha.got new shock absorbers on.just cheap ones.bout to put in new fuel pump.hopefully that helps with the hard 3 crank start.I'm also switching to the 2.50 gallon unleaded non ethanol gas cause i guess jeeps back then ran on non ethanol additive.ten percent ethonal is 1.90 gallon haha.still trying to figure out why it pulls to the right.i havnt put much effort into that.all in all it runs good.   12. like the hoses are for ccv or pcv whichever right haha ccv has a way smaller opening goinh into valve cover but hey I'm no mechanic and parts store they seem to think only pcv system exist.anywhat...they connect to let me see on page 2300 of manual hmmmm yup not sure what part to buy and replace.I'm thinking maybe its stuck open whatever valve that is..maybe the crank case valve thingy part number something haha gotta call jeep tomorrow for sure Sent from my LG-V410 using Tapatalk
