Man do i feel dumb i should have known that! Is the CPS off the ax15 compatible with my wiring or do i gotta cut and splice? And to clarify on the pilot bushing will mine work or do i need the adapter PB?

Some great advice i appreciate it but i am a dummy whats the CPS on the bellhousing?

I seen that novak had the pilot bushing for the swap for like 4 bucks and some change. So this should be a fairly easy bolt on since i have the early years ax15?

Just picked me up a 89-91(internal slave) ax15 with np231j tcase crossmember mount master cyl and pedal setup for complete swap. I don't need pedals but got em anyway. I am sure there is a build thread somewhere in these pages but too lazy to find. lol. My question is what are some parts i can reuse and what are some parts i need for this swap? My jeep is an 88 peugeot equipped. I am gonna clean the trans tcase and get a new clutch before i start the swap. Can i reuse my flywheel shift linkage etc. Any and all info is helpful and appreciated. Thanks

i got fooled not too long ago on a ford 8.8 rearend but luckily my friend i got it off of gave me my money back. The rear came off a crown vic not the explorer. I learned my lesson and research before i buy now!

I sent him a message thru email askin if those were mj tails and not dakota tails. He replied and said all he knows is he took them off a 89 comanche. I would assume they were fabricsted to work if they were on his comanche

Then i seen the buy it now price and then looked closer and these appear to be dakota lights (not for sure) but the screw holes and trim don't look like mj lenses! Found out the axle is from a '02 crown vic non lmt slip and 28 spline. Since its from a crown vic the width is nearly 78 inches wms to wms!!! At least my friend has agreed to give me my money back. I have def learned my lesson just b/c its a 8.8 doesnt mean its a good deal!!! :mad: :dunno: :no: :nuts:

Just got the axle in the garage looks to be from something other than explorer does anyone know if its still good to put in or should i just send it to the scrap yard and i really don't know now if its a posi rear it has id tag but don't know what it means
