  1. I have seriously never seen that before in my life. I don't have one Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  2. Which line is the vacuum one Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. So say I install an after market water temp sensor with gauge. So say the old conector for the old sensor just hangs. What problems with running would this cause. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. They were both the same length Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. My Comanche is a 2.5l. It surges and bucks at low speeds. To me it seems to be the ignition. But I don't know. I'm including a link to the video of it running at the bottom. But sometimes it will start up just fine and run good for a mile or two and then start acting up. Other times it will do it right away. Cold or hot. Sometimes I can turn it off and then back on and it fixes itself for a hundred yards and starts again. It'll make a quick tick (not like an engine knock) sound while driving and it's like a misfire to me. It bucks at low speaks and sometimes at stop signs it will shut off when I take off like in the video ( and I do know how to drive a standard so that's not it) I replaced the tps sometime ago and it fixed it for a day and went right back. I replaced the cps and it fixed it for a day and went right back. I stop turn it off and wait a minute and turn it back on and it fixes for a little while. I'm complete stumped on this. I have a new rotor, cap, wires and plugs also. The coil is newer. I have done some of c101 delete and it did it before and after. Refreshed grounds. Refreshed conections. I don't know what it could be. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. Mine buffed out Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. These are both of the trannys side by side. With the 5 speed on the left with the slave cylinder Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. I'm in Mississippi and yet both of my Mjs didn't have any rust on them. Well this one does now but it didnt. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  9. Well that mj is already totaled from my wreck and yes we took the tractor and put it on its side so it'd be easier because when I wrecked it rolled anyway. And yes both are 2×4 I already know about that part of it Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. This is the 4speed in my shortbed. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. Well today it started effecting performance. I couldn't even take off in first gear because it was catching and grinding. Second gear did the same and third gear was loud but not at bad and 4th was the only gear I could go in where it wasn't extremely loud. 5th is really loud ticking. I can't drive it right now with the way it's acting so I'm gonna go ahead with the swap and check everything out while I do it Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  12. No it was not. The ticking only started like 2 or 3 days ago Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  13. I'll take some pictures when I get some time. But I just put a new clutch in 3 weeks ago Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. So I have a 87 jeep Comanche 2.5 longbed and the tranny has a tick in it. It tickets in all gears except 4th and its a 5speed and it ticks in neutral except for when the clutch is it. What do tall think the problem could be? Also I have a 4speed tranny in my 87 2.5 short wheel base and it's like an inch shorter. Would the transmission work if I swapped it to my longbed? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  15. What needs to be done to be able to put bucket seats out of a 94 Cherokee into an 87 Comanche with a bench seat? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  16. Pull each spark plug out and hold it close to a ground and turn the engine over. Or take a light tester or ground and take the coil wire off and see if there is spark there Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  17. That's some stuff I want to do one day Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  18. Man this is a nice thread Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  19. Well I don't think the tanks had different size ports. And I have the 23 gallon one and they are about the same depth compared to my other mj with an 18 gallon tank. Looks about the same on the outside other than size but I don't know about inside the 23 g one Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  20. Does anybody know if this fuel pump will work in the 87 2.5l? I know it says 4.0 but I was wondering if there is an actual difference in use and if anyone has ever tried to use it on the 2.5 before
  21. Thanks cruiser but that one doesn't show where each individual hose goes and I think it's for the 4.0 Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  22. My dad was the one who suggested it and most kids don't know what a carburetor is. And I already got it running with the tbi Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  23. Does anyone have the diagram for the vacuum harness for the 87 renix 2.5l? Like one that actually shows where every line is supposed to go and or some real pictures of it installed? I believe the one in the picture is the same one I'm talking about. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  24. I've already tested my o2 sensor like that before it didn't do anything Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  25. It was supposed to be used on a 79 to like 83 ford. It does not have a computer otherwise I wouldn't of been able to use it on my other mj Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk I'm actually pretty sure it came off my sister's old 79 f100
