  1. Do you happen to know the color name for that color of paint?
  2. Yeah I have got to get another bumper ASAP
  3. So I wanted to share some more interior pics of my Comanche. Took it out for a little bit today and boy do I like this thing. I have been reading this forum a lot and have settled on setting this thing up with a 4" lift and most likely 32s. Hope to be ordering the lift in the coming weeks. Of course I have to throw in a cheesy backyard pic of it attempting to climb a sandhill.
  4. Yeah man that would be awesome. I plan to put a little cash into it before taking it out wheeling. Hopefully put a mild lift and a little bit bigger tires. Do you hang around with any local MJers?
  5. Sorry for the long quote. I was stoked to see this response, I didn't expect to get even half of the information you gave me. So first I would like to thank you for that. If I was to do the iron Rock offroad 4" XJ kit, would that bolt up fine without any modifications to the body? Would th body be level after installing it? Also, I hear many stories about rustys products and how a lot people hate them, you seem to like them, do you think their whole kit with the upgraded shocks would be a good idea as far as ride comfort and what not? If I did buy the Iron rock XJ kit and it worked fine, down the road could I put MJ leaf packs in without any issues regarding the shock location? The zone off road kit does look pretty tempting and was thinking about getting it earlier. Thanks again Bump
  6. Well today I had to take care of the awful side view mirrors. Went to a local pull a part and grabbed two of them from a Cherokee. Also snagged the A pillars from both sides. Had to trim them a bit to fit, but it looks good enough to me.
  7. Sorry just habit on putting that V6. Funny thing I committed to buying it and got up there and he told me it was actually an 1989. The hitch will be one of the first thing replace. Hopefully I posted this in the right forum.
  8. Hello all. I wanted to share my new Comanche that I bought just the other day. This is my first Jeep, but not my first 4X4. I have had Toyotas in the past and I have to say I am really feeling this thing so far. I drove across state lines the other day to get this thing and I am very excited about putting a little love into it. It is a 1989 with the 4.0 V6 5spd 4WD 130K miles. Looks to be a pioneer edition due to the stickers that were painted over. Interior is in great shape, 4wd works great, and it it is very strong.
