  1. I'm Impressed with the fab work you have done. The rock rails look great and the truss for the front diff looks like the artek truss. I like where you are going with this build so far.
  2. I'm also very excited to see how this build goes and would also be interested with some of the details as I am currently putting parts together to do the same swap using the same conversion kit. I'm attempting to sketch up a flat deck option or a mini service body but really looking forward to updates.
  3. I have been looking at doing something similar but my plan is to use an XJ fuel tank, sending unit, skid plate, and fuel door and just weld it in place behind the rear tire and mount the tank where the spare tire was mounted. Still trying to figure the specifics but I have the parts now and will post the pictures when it is done
  4. PB3 is Intense Blue Pearl Coat as per the VIN and paint code
  5. Good work and I am glad that the sickness has spread
  6. getting it all cleaned up trying to get all the tree sap and moss off of it getting to work right after I got it running test fitting for new fender radius and bump stop height the TJ I finally sold
  7. I have been looking at this truck for a while since I moved into my new house and had the luxury to look under it and check the vin and found it has all the goodies I was hoping for 4.0, 4x4, D44, AX15 and surprisingly little rust despite it being an 1989, finally decided to get rid of my 2003 TJ and buy this truck a while ago and have been around jeeps for a while now and even had a job building jeeps for 4 years at ranging from the simple lift and tires to engine conversions custom racing suspension and on and on. And now I'm working on building up a new project again and now I know where I want the build to go. After I finally sold my TJ I used started to gather parts together so I can take a whole weekend and put it together so it doesn't have to come apart more than once unless something is broken. What I have so far -6.5" Clayton Offroad pro link -SOA brakets -8274 Needs rebuild and motor replacement -35" 12.5" R 15 Goodyear MT-R -15" Custom modified wheels -Inner air lock beadlocks (reason why wheels are modified) -Redneck Ram hydro assist with ported box -Napier Precision Products Flares -4.56:1 yukon gears -True trac limited slip Dana 44 and Dana 30 -Donor late model Dana 30 (to rid myself of the vacuum disconnect) What I'm missing -Unibody stiffeners -JCR DIY front winch bumper -JCR DIY rear bumper/build a rear bumper I'll post some pictures once I can figure out how to get them to post
  8. I'm working at a chrysler dealership in stony. I am actually looking at building the same kind of truck you are planning same size tires with the same style of rack/exo cage only a little more simple but all in all the same set up. With the same type of truck only a year older. old my wife about it last night and we shared a good laugh.
