I tied to put one of the shorter pieces in a hot oven and let it set for 30 min at 300 degrees. The plastic got soft but didnt help. Just wondering if anyone has tried to remove it.

Also I want to add some current jeep 5 star wheels too.

So sorry. That sucks. I don't want to get into it but why weren't you in the truck with the guy?

On my 1986 custom, the trim that surrounds the door windows, the black plastic, is peeling. So I peeled what I could and there is polished stainless steel, I believe to be. Has anyone figured out how to remove the remainder of the plastic? I would love to have a polished trim on my doors.

Nice job, I use shrink tubing as much as I can. Electrical tape can come undone and allows moisture to enter.

Are they compatible? I have an 86 Comanche and I have a 89 Cherokee parts truck at my disposal. Can i use the XJ fuse block in the MJ? Or on the fuse, #17 Gauges wh, the tab # 11 14YL broke on me. What is the easiest/temporary fix so I can get my truck smog-ed then I will have a little more time and move the whole blessed thing to the engine compartment. Thank you
