  1. From what I can tell the 44 is what it looks like from the photos of axles I have seen. It looks nothing like a 35.

  3. Hopefully that works for a photo of rear. Using my phone to do this.

  6. I am not positive on what axles I have. I said that it looks like the pictures I saw of the 44. I know very little about jeeps at this point. Trying to learn everything I can about it before I start throwing money into it.
  7. https://micronesia.craigslist.org/cto/4920880139.html This is guy is totally insane. Lol. Who in their right mind would buy this. I know it has nothing to do with jeep but thought everyone could use a good laugh. This is what we have to deal with here on most vehicles for sale.
  8. Here is no hi way miles at all. Top speed is 35. Well the speed limit that is lol. Most people including myself hit about 50 for normal driving. I don't do in in the MJ but our other cars yes.
  9. What gears would be best to go with? I plan on checking what I have later today. Will take better pictures of everything underneath. Hopefully I can get pictures posted later today.
  10. It's a 89 and a standard. I was thinking of replacing wheel bearings. Are they the same for the different axles?
  11. Yes I have some. Finding the club inspired me to take pictures. Lol I haven't tried to post any yet though.
  12. I haven't figured out which Trans I have yet. Motor is in line 6, 4.0 when I bought it I was just awe stuck with it. Honestly I really didn't know the comanche existed until I saw mine.
  13. Thanks guys will be my project for tomorrow. You are pretty accurate with your guess about fuel milage rusty. Mine is averaging just about 10. I was looking at both front and back axles. From the pictures I found on here I believe I have Dana 44's on both. When I check the gearing am I wanting both to be the same?
  14. What is the best way to check the differential gears? Also what is the average fuel milage for the 4.0? The only thing that I have done to date to the truck is pull off the awful looking JK flares that the PO riveted on and replaced all the fluids in it. This is my first jeep and first 4 wheel drive. I have very little knowledge about it right now. One thing I wanted to add is how grateful I am to finding the club. Every one here is willing to help out and that just something I find totally awesome. I wanted to thank everyone for just being a great group of guys.
  15. When I bought my truck it came with 35's on it. Is it normal for the truck to not want to roll with bigger tires? I have to give it some extra gas just to get it rolling. When I let off the accelerator it almost feels like I am lightly applying the brakes. Just want some feedback before I do anything to it.
  16. Hope this works for your friend. Little pricey but looks as if it may be worth checking out. http://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/4912957087.html

  18. I'm located in Guam. So shipping is a must. Looking for dark gray if possible. I will pay for shipping plus your time involved. Just let me know how much. Thanks CJ
  19. Zip here is 96929.if you can let me know how much it cost will be happy to pay. It's a huge help.
  20. I can definitely set up an account.
  21. That would be awesome to have someone willing to ship it here.
  22. Most places consider us international even though it's an US territory. The postal service here is nothing like back there. Most of us have to use post office box because they won't deliver to residential unless it's a main road. I use a private mail service that is considered residential so companies will ship here.
  23. I live on Guam. Almost everyone wants to charge an outrageous amount for shipping because it is considered international. I have found a few on ebay as well but they either won't ship or wanted $60-100 for shipping it. As much as I want it I hate seeing that huge shipping cost for something so light. I was looking for a steering gear. Part was $75 dollars shipping was almost $400. I am still using my old one lol. We have one junk yard here and they are the worst at price gouging for parts.
  24. I have a 89 with a 4.0 in it. When I bought it I noticed that I'm missing the fan shroud. I am trying to buy a replacement for it but everyone one that I have found online says either that it doesn't fit my MJ or doesn't ship to my destination. Does anyone know the measurements for it? I have found a few universal ones that have different sizes and want to get the closest fit as possible. When I have things shipped it normally takes 2-3 weeks to arrive so would like to avoid buying the wrong one and having to wait again to get the right size. Thanks CJ
  25. I finally have some time off from work. It's time to start working on my 89. It has a 4.0 in it. Since the first day I had it, it has been hard to start. It has always taken several attempts of long cranking to get it to fire up. Recently it has started to back fire before it wants to start. I am thinking maybe the CPS. I saw cruisers write up on things to do and plan on doing the entire list today to see if it improves. If anyone has any suggestions besides that please let me know. It's my first jeep so it's definitely a learning experience for me.
