Just a quick question, the typical break in period for a ring and pinion is 500 miles. Assuming that is the case under a constant load. Well my situation is, I just had 4.10 gears i nstalled in my front Dana 30. I'm obviously not going to be in 4wd all of the time, so what would the suggested break in period be for a ring and pinion that is technically just free spinning under no load? 1000 miles 3000 miles? It's a mystery! Just wondering if anyone could help me out! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

I ended up cutting the bracket to accommodate for the body brace. Everything else fit pretty well! FYI for anyone looking to run the Rough Country kit, don't use their self tapping bolts. They say to torque them to 30 ft/lb but they strip out at about 20! I just drilled a hole and fished some through bolts in their place! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

In the mean time, I've ordered Rough Country's long arm kit and it has proven a pain in the butt to install on a 86 2.8 converted to 4.0! There has been tons of cutting! You can see in the picture that the body brace will have to be cut off to hold the side bracket. I'm thinking I'll weld two 1/4 inch angle iron braces to re support it once it has been cut out! Any other ideas from you guys? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

I am in the process of rebuilding an HP Dana 30 from a 96 XJ, I was wondering if there is a bearing on the outer axle tube (look at the attachment) or just a seal? If so what is the pert number or what could I use as search criteria to find it? Thanks so much in advance! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

Building up the Dana 30 from the donor XJ, I was either going to build or buy an overall truss, reinforce the C's, 3 link control arms, and 1 ton steering. I don't do any crazy offloading and will never go over 35" tires so I think this axle will suffice! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

Nothing new really, I've installed the keyless entry sensor from the donor 4.0 XJ and love it, it's pretty awesome having power windows as well! I also got the A/C system sealed up and working. Sometime in June I will be taking it to have body work done on it and paint! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

The side mount Eaton kit? That requires the later 3-bolt power steering mount which you already have, so you are good to go. I'm looking at this kit myself. Go ahead and get it, and let me know how if flies. It's some time in the future! But if I do by chance snag it before you, I'll put it in this thread!
