So I have the 2.8l v6 making around 120hp and a ax-5 transmission, I have a rear dana 35 and front dana 30 both with 4.10 ratio, I want to run 33-35 inch tires when I put on my lift, should I upgrade my gears or jut leave them at the 4.10? Thanks for all the help so far guys!
Yes, it's was my dads idea when he wanted a teardrop trailer and we had another XJ sitting around that we used for a parts vehicle for my MJ so we came up with this
I am thinking of ordering the 4.5 rough country kit for my MJ, is there anyone here that has it that could give me advise and post a picture of theirs?
Me and my dad and a friend have been working on making a teardrop trailer out of a cherokee here's what's done so far...next is a 3in add a leaf then the same rims and 31' inch tires on the cherokee then onto the interior!
I've done the CAD fix and I didn't like it at all you have to have your front driveshaft balanced, new u joints, pretty much everything that has to do with 4wd. I had the same problem as you and I just replace the shift motor and re ran all vacuum lines from the transfer case to the shift motor and after that it worked. If you do the CAD fix your comanche will always have the front driveshaft spinning 2wd and 4wd so it makes your truck really unstable and shakey and a lot of vibration around 45-60 mph an it's very annoying I also experienced less gas mileage so don't do CAD. Go with re running the vacuum lines and keep the stock system. They make a vacuum line kit for the cherokee on amazon fro around 30$ that's your best bet!
Still resisting the CAD elimination, I see.................
I did the CAD fix and I noticed it made the front driveshaft spinning and it wa vibe rating badly and I got less gas mileage so I decided to stick with the vacuum system
Hello I am having problems with my 4wd. I'm gonna have to replace all vacuum lines and I wanted to know what the check valve is an where I could get a new one?
On my comanche the low fuel light in the bottom left is always lit up and the fuel gauge works, any suggestions on how to make the fuel light work properly?
