  1. Well I have had about 6 Cherokees but finally got bit by the Comanche bug. After seeing a couple of the cleaner build ups I came across here I really wanted one of my own. Found this project from the original owner. They were asking $900 which was way too high IMO. Offered $600 and they accepted. The good? Bought from original owner Lwb, 6 cyl/AW4/4x4 Body in pretty good shape. Original paint, very minimal rust The bad? Loud rod knock on engine Clear coat peeling Interior has minimal wear but after 18 years it needs a refresh So plans are to replace engine/trans with low mile units. Repair what rust there is. Do body and paint to near new standard. 2" lift with 31" tires.
  2. I would flush heater core and engine and replace radiator.
  3. For price of updates it is cheaper to buy a new lower end Garmin.
  4. Nice truck. Wish he had posted more photos!
  5. :huh???: I plan on changing out my trans fluid soon also, what exactly do you mean by this? I was going to run Seafoam Transtune through it per the can instructions, drain and replace. I would not Seafoam it but I would do a poorman's flush where you replace ALL the fluid with fresh fluid. If you search for "poorman's flush" on Naxja you find a ton of info.
  6. I have 3 Garmins. You can get a refurbed c530 off of Amazon for $79.99. Hard to beat the value.
  7. I would say check for exhaust in coolant then replace water pump AND radiator.
  8. Can someone post the actual sizes of the o-rings so others don't have to go to the Stealership?
  9. The stealership here ripped me off for $14 for the three lousy o rings. I won't be going back there again!
  10. Nice ride Willy! I looked at the ad for that but really wanted a long bed. That's how I came to need a 4.0 liter! P.S. If you ditch the spacers and helper springs I would love them! Some how I think you will be going higher!
  11. Any reason it wouldn't be the same year as your MJ?
