also when swaping in newer clusters i ran into a issue with one that the + and - were reversed so when my jeep was full it read empty and empty read full that may be your issue if your float or something else in your sending unit isnt messed up

I just changed my comanche over to the open cooling system has anyone ever tried to wire up a ho thermostat mounted fan switch into the wireing harness by splicing into the pre ho raidtor mounted fan switch wires?
