  1. I must've been watching the news.
  2. Very cool. What color are you going with?
  3. I sure hope this is not a sign of things to come. I think I would've looked for something else to buy after all that. words to live by, Around here they are clueless about any other car brand than the one they specialize in.
  4. Your tires cost more than my entire truck, and I am jealous!
  5. Have the auto parts store check your starter and battery. If they're good, probably one of your battery cables.
  6. Bought mine for my son so even though there will be nicer rides in his high school parking lot, he'll have the coolest. I kick myself for not having bought one sooner, I always liked the styling over any other small truck.
  7. back yard is a relative term. I live out in the country and it's just an area towards the back of my property that isn't used for anything in particular. No HOA or neighbors to annoy. Definitely would help to lock the front. As stated in my post I have done this several times, probably without lockers and never got stuck. I was looking forward to mudding this one in particular because it's my 15 year old's first truck and he would get to drive it himself. All prior trucks were full size v-8 power.
  8. Got some rain today and decided to turn my backyard into a mud pit I was very disappointed in the performance of my 'manche. It has a rear locker and 32" mt tires (brand new). The truck lost traction very easily and I got stuck twice. The only thing I can figure is it is too light and just floats on top where it is very slick. I have done this with a few full size trucks including two diesels and have never been stuck in my backyard until today. Maybe these trucks are more cut out for sand and rocks?
  9. Try running it without the thermostat. I'd been having all kinds of problems since losing a radiator hose last week. Changed thermostat today, topped off engine and radiator thru t-stat housing. Forgot to put in t-stat, but engine now runs great. Some might disagree with my recommendation, but I am leaving my t-stat off, but being in South Texas, I should be okay.
