  1. Crawl under it and see if they put the front drive shaft back in place.
  2. Replaced the old world steel wheels with some 2000 alloys I got a deal on. Updates the appearance some-what.
  3. Bad plug wires show up under load, like accelerating from a stop or pulling an incline. Had several rigs that would start up hills fine but by the time you get to the top they have slowed to half their speed and sputtering to keep moving. Hit the flats and no load they run fine again. Cure, new plug wires. Just saying--------------
  4. Some (7-8) cheap ones here: http://portland.craigslist.org/search/cta?catAbb=cta&=cta&query=comanche&zoomToPosting=&minAsk=&maxAsk=&autoMinYear=&autoMaxYear=http://portland.craigslist.org/search/cta?catAbb=cta&=cta&query=comanche&zoomToPosting=&minAsk=&maxAsk=&autoMinYear=&autoMaxYear=Some
  5. Check your 1 & 2 solenoid in the AW4. Should ohm out around 11-13 if I remember correctly. You don't have to pull the pan to do it. Some time back I sent the info to some one on here on how to do this. Hopefully he'll read this and comment here. Full throttle shift to 2nd gear happens around 44-4500 RPM. ! & 2 solenoid both have to work together make the 2-3 shift a go. Still had this laying around, maybe it will help. The last one may be to old by now. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=901304 http://xj.cdevco.net/auto/nss/nss.gif http://www.transonline.com/transdigest/magazines/1997-10/Shift%20Pointers/index.html
  6. It would pay to hit them all with a shot of PB Blaster 2 days ahead of trying to remove them.
  7. Mine appears to be straight up and down, yours might be cross threaded.. Remove it and look at the threads in the hole and on the sender. If necessary run a tap through the hole or a die over the sender threads to straighten things out. Then if you can screw it into the hole throw some Teflon tape on it and screw it in.
  8. Image Not FoundOpened the back garage door and let the MJ see the front street a bit while I used it to charge the mowers battery. Not good policy to try and sell a mower when it won't start. Not the photo intended but it will do. Then locked the MJ out back again, don't use it much anymore.
  9. The address: O Harvey 121 Heavenly Ct Sutherlin, OR 97479 Thanks- - - - Orlyn
  10. We have JY, however, the smaller ones near (2) me don't always have a lot of XJ's to pick over, or their already stripped. So my next option is 65 miles from here. So at 15 mpg per gal. in the MJ that's about 8 gal. per round trip at $3.69 a gal. That makes for one high priced clip. Let me know what you want for it & if I'm agreeable I'll send you a check. You can send the clip after the check clears if agreeable. My address will be on the check & it's also on my profile . Orlyn
  11. Need one (1) gray sunvisor clip for 89 mj. Part # appears to be 8955007 243.
  12. Went out & checked on the MJ since he had to spend the night out in the dark. When he saw what caused his outage from the garage he looked a little p-----. Heard him Mumble something about alousy b*@$£. So I gave him a bath and he felt not so neglected. He doesn't know its gonna be perm. Image Not Found Maybe if she don't perform right he can get his space back:
  13. No that's not her first steelhead. She also catches some pretty good sized large mouth bass. Preps her roe and paints her own drifters. And she loves to eat what she catches, but Mom cooks the fish. I got a feeling she'll be reeling in a Salmon before long.
  14. If the track rod bolt has a nut on it, wedge a large screw driver in there so the nut won't turn and back the bolt out.
