I have an 87 comanche already 4.0 , but have come across a 92 4.0 in great shape. Should I sell mine for the high output or keep what I got????????????? :wall:

I thought I had read on here at one time that chevy covers were the closest fit. Is this true? or Is there a better cover out there for our trucks? Thanks found one for a chevy s-10 on cl :dunno:

I've had the axles for a couple of weeks now but noticed the other ones doesn't have the brake valve arm on the rear axle. They were off a 4cyl 87 comanche what to do now? I have just put a 3'" lift on with some 05 rubi wheels would like the 4:10s to push the 31s. What do I do with the valve arm? :dunno:

I have bought a set of axels from a 4cyl comanche with 410 gears that I am looking to swap in. But on my 87 I have an arm that connects to my rear diff what is this for? Also I thought I had 307 gears stock but reading an earlier post it was said they had 355s. Also I was looking for the speedo gear for the changeout but discountmopar doesnt carry them any more don't realy want to pay 60 at the dealer. Does anyone know of any where else to find one? Thanks

Just swaped a 90 xj cluster into my 87 tonight. Looks the way it was ment to be :D

Thanks guys for all the info. I was on craigslist the other day and came across 87 comanche axles that were in a 4cyl 4x4 :cheers: direct bolt in 4:10s for $100 bucks

Shouldnt' be stamped on the outside of the diff or do I need to pull the cover to be sure?

I have found an 85 cherokee 2.5l auto 4x4. Would this jeep have the 4:10 gears in the axles that would be a direct swap into my 87 4.0 , 4x4 comanche? :clapping:

The guy pointed to the one on the drivers side. I might try to find a valve cover off a 2000 cherokee from the jy. Where did you find the new steel baffle?

I read a post quick about a mod to the valve cover but not in depth. So you can just un hook it? I need to replace my valve cover gasket anyway so I guess I will pull it apart and clean it up.

I was told my egr valve could be stuck closed causing preasure causing the oil blow back?

Are egr vales interchangable with cherokees. I am getting alot of oil in my air box and would like to try one from the junk yard before I buy one for 133.00. If so how new can I go. I have an 87 4.0.

Just switched to the ax-15 myself best money spent. Found one rebuilt on craigslist for $250.00 :D

My buddy just had same problem they told him t-case at the shop

Finaly picked up wheels today :clapping: . But think I am going to put them on my 97 xj. Can't decide I like the look on both, but need to put lift on both to clear. Will post pics as soon as I have them on. Damn two jobs :fs1:

Finaly got my ax-15 in. Drives like a new truck. had to replace the spedo cable now it bounces around till I hit about 40mph. The ax-15 was out of a 91 wrangler. Anybody have an idea of what this could be? :dunno:

I am going to get a set of 05 rubicon wheels I think I am going to need adapters. can anyone point in the right direction of finding some for my 87 comanche. Thanks.
