made sure you used the old flywheel and the same crank sensor for you harness and the new ax15 transmission . so if you don't it will crank but will not start. I just finish doing one hope its a help gook luck!!

Hello, to all you Comanche enthusiast, like my self finish a 4.0 motor and AX15 5-speed transmission from a 1996 Cherokee change over the winter. Into my 1989 Comanche 4.0 motor and Peugeot 5- speed. My problem is I didn't change the flywheel from the 5- speed Peugeot . The harness from the 1989 Comanche has a two wire set up for the crankshaft position sensor. The AX15 5- speed has a three wire set up . do I need to change the flywheel? from the 5-speed Peugeot for it to work? I try with the old crankshaft sensor. It was beat up. If I get a new one will it work with the new AX15 5-speed flywheel? I am stumped, would like any advice to help out . Thanks to all Bee110 akk (Brian)

Hi, I have 1989 Comanche with a ax15 5-speed transmission. The throttle body has two cable. I do find the 26or27 inch throttle cable to the gas pedal. The second cable is for the kick down for the throttle body. dose any body know the part number or the name of the second cable thanks for the help. bee110

Thanks for the help. Its a 1989 jeep Comanche with a 4.0 motor and new ax15 transmission. It has two cables. I found the first cable 26 or 27 inch one that go's to the gas pedal. But the second one go's to the top of the throttle body clip. Then to the throttle body bracket that its clip in . then cable go's to the lower side clip kick down. Hello have problem I change the motor. when it come to the throttle body cables are two. I can find the 26 or 27 inch throttle body cable on line. but the second one I can't find. Would like to know what its call. Is it a acceleration throttle body cable . If anybody can help thanks.
