Quick Question. I've got a 1990 Eliminator with a three inch Rustys lift. I put the original sway bars back on after lifting the truck a year or so ago and now they're bent to pieces. When I go to buy some new ones do i just need to buy a stock set or should i buy something else? Also, where might I find a set on the internet? Thanks for any help you guys can give me... -Will

I was looking at stuff to do to my comanche right after i got it and saw Pete's on CarDomain and e-mailed him about it. He told me about this, actually the yahoo group, then they created this one and i've been in and out as I switch between my comanche project and my mustang project.

I like my lift thus far, had it about a year. It's pretty good for the cost. I'm kinda ready for a bigger lift though, maybe at the end of the summer. I might be up in knoxville some next semester, I have some friends that'll be going to school there so I'll let yah know if I head in that direction man. -Will Dement

I have a three inch lift and rub a little in the front with 31's but I also still have the stock rims. I think if you have even just a little backspacing in the rims you won't have any problems.

What height of lift would i be looking at in a lift to fit 35's with fender trimming etc? I've got a 3 inch lift currently and I want to go bigger...but once i go bigger, I'll probably want more then too, haha. It seems like everybodys truck or jeep is taller than mine here in Tennessee. yeah, i don't currently need them for my lift, but I want a little more lift than I have, and I'm gonna go for a spring over here in the near future, plus i also have an old CJ that needs a spring over so I was interested in buying a couple sets for both vehicles.

A while back i saw some spring perches that were extended a bit to prevent axle wrap to some extent. Does anyone know anything about them and who makes them? Thanks guys. -Will

New Catalytic Converter Old filters minus the oil filter a few days old. The Tranny is questionable, usually great around town does really bad with hills. She probably has around 140,000 miles on her. The odometer quit working right after I got her at about 131,000 and I'm running 31 x 10.5's. Should I start with putting all new filters in? I've been having some problems with the 4.0L in my 1990 Eliminator which is to be expected with an engine with hige mileage and i'm thinking about switching engines soon but I really like the 4.0L so I wanted to put a newer H.O. 4.0L from a '92 or newer vehicle in my truck. I have no idea as to what kind of work this would call for so I thought I'd ask you guys about all that I'd need to change over. My dad has a '92 Wrangler and the H.O. 4.0L in it is so much simpler and more powerful than mine. An suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and Merry Christmas! -Will

I really have very little idea what reversing the shackles does and I'm trying to figure out all of my options for my CJ-7, now that I've got the Comanche lifted and painted. Just wondering if any of you guys could fill me in in any way. Thanks and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays. -Will Dement
