i started out with a 88 sb 4x4 comanche in pretty bad shape in the interior.. what about the drive shafts? are they going to bolt up..or am i going to have to find a adapter piece

sounds cool but ill try to get the wider one...is it as a wide as a d30? what is the bolt pattern on the 8"

the guy said he also has one that is a little wider is that the better one? i don't want the one that isnt good because i don't wanna spend 200+ on a axle crappy as my d35

right now i have a d35 rear and d30 front for my comanche with 4.10s... i came across a guy today that will sell me his toyota 8" with 4.10s and welded spider gears for $250 or so... but my question is should i get that or hold out for a d44 or ford 8.8?

just make it spring over in the rear and get bigger springs up front thats the cheapest way....most companies want BIG $$$ for lifts that i could do for $35 dollars haha

well ive seen some go for around 10 bucks or less...but i got some off a gmc at a junkyard...

i was just wondering how many people have changed the tail gate straps on their mjs... the metal folding strap on mine gets really annoying because it either won't colapse right or gets jamed...so i put some steel rope straps off a chevy truck...just a comfort mod i guess :-D

very very nice...thats what i hope to have my comanche like except flat black....i love that rear bumper/shackle support... i wouldnt put flares on it if i were you though..or trim...it looks great as is...beefy and gnarly!...

i think the comander truck should be 2 door only....

my steering box in my comanche is pretty much shot....i was wondering if the one out of my cherokee would work? i have an 88 comanche 4.0 and an 86 cherokee 2.8v6
