Yea, a transplant, but I still have the FSJ

The signal light on the dash does nothing but glow, before and after bulb replacement. The only time any lights glow at the tail light is when the headlights are on. I have to work tomorrow, I guess Sunday I have a few things to do. I'll try some of your suggestions. Thanx

The ground that was behind the lens assy. looked good... I have a J-10, and that is the cause of alot of it's electrical problems. :cry:

I got the lens/light out. Both bulbs look fine, so I put on the headlights and one is out, I switch the good bulb to that socket and its glows. So I buy a new bulb, still won't work in that socket :mad: The only time both sides light up is with headlights. Is there somewhere else I should be looking ???

I removed the other lens, it came right out. The one I need off though, the 2 screws inside of the tailgate are like welded in... I sprayed a ton of penetrating oil, tapped them with a hammer, pushed as hard as I could and they won't budge. So I started drilling them, well I gave up for tonight, these rusty screws must be made of Titainiam. Yes I have good sharp drill bits too!!! Drill some more tomorrow. :cheers:

Anyone have pics of the "socket" when the lens is removed?

I unscrewed the 2 screws in the lens, but it won't come out. Do I need to unscrew the 2 on the side when you open the tailgate??? Tose don't want to come out.

offroader461 That is an AWESOME avitar !!!!!!!!!! I copied it and sent it to my neice, her boyfriend is a hardcore CJ offroader, and she owns a CJ too. She has done a couple of trails with her Jeep. There is something about the sense of humor us Jeep owners have....especially the IFSJ guys, I joined that club in 2000, when I got my J-10. :bowdown:

I have the complete running gear from my old 1967 Wagoneer. Would the 2 axles and t-case fit in my 1986 2WD Comanche ? I know it wouldn't bolt up, but would it fit???? All components worked very well at the time of canabalizum.

does anyone have any pics of the spare tire setup for a Comanche?? Also, can you replace the big "wingnut" that hangs on the wire, or do you need to replace the entire setup???

Does anyone have some pics of interior Comanche options??
