even if it was a blank. when you shoot a blank at someone your suposed to be about 10 feet away if not more and your never suposed to point it directly at the person due to the fact that you can still injure someone pretty good with a blank

mine isn't working either, kinda wanted to see that to

don't know if anyone has been to albuquerque new mexico. but man i wish i had my jeep back when i lived there. there was this place called 9 mile hill...this little piece of heaven was right outside of city limits. had awsome dunes to climb, cool back trails to go threw. it was a place where people went to shoot their guns, climb hills in their vehicles, and cheat on their spouse. ive only done there first 2 btw :brows:

4.6 the inline 6? i raced a 1995ish f150 (inline 6) with my 2.5 comanche and beat it years ago. they are slow as **** in that case i hope it wasn't the inline 6, if it was that means i have a slow as hell 4.0 in my xj...

Turn your fan off and on and see if you can hear (or feel) the relay clicking. You might have mis-wired the fan load thru two NC relay contacts or thru the coil. Easy to do........ yeah i can hear and feel it click on and off, that a bad thing? maybe i'm just over paranoid as i'm used to stuff goin' wrong
-
its still getting kind of hot even after i put the relay in. i used 12 ga wire for the whole thing. i don't know what else to do except trying bigger gauge wire...I'm stumped

:rotfl2: that comment got me laughing for some reason. i've never been a ford fan anyway. i really only like their older more box body styles than the rounder ones. either way tho if i had an alternate choice i wouldnt pick the ford

the funny thing is, my first question on here was answered that way...but then they also provided a very helpful link for me at the same time. thanks to all who participate in CC and help answer my idiotic questions

man these pics make me envyous. we have no wilderness in this town. closest thing i get to wheeling is driving halfway on a curb to get around some jackass that doesnt know when to turn :headpop: . closest thing i get to mud is when it rains and i get to drive threw some puddles on that street they are doin construction on :ack:
-
awsome thanks. learn something new everyday right?
-
My first thought too. A relay is a must for things like this  why would going threw a relay matter?
-
for some reason when i drive around town in my xj i get people that want to race me. i don't know if its the fact that my xj is a little loud or the forest green i detailed it with. but i had a couple kids in a f-150 pull up next to me at a light and start reving. i thought why not i'm bored might as well race him. so we go and the look on the kids face was funny when we stayd neck and neck the whole way. i'm sure he expected to smoke my old rusty jeep with his newer 150. in the back of my head i was thinking if i had the H.O it would of been sad at how bad he would of lost. JEEP POWER ROCK ON!!!
-
just can't get your mind off the jeeps can you?
-
its like this
-
no i just went straight to the battery then to the switch
-
oh ha. i didnt even think of that  . thanks for the tip
-
ok so i rigged up the cooling fan to a switch...when its on for a while the wires get very hot and start smoking? yeah i'm disapointed in myself cuz this is very simple stuff here. its going to be simple fix i just know it buy my brain can't think of what i'm doin' wrong!!! my jeep is lucky i love her...

Dude thats a nice lookin xj. i would kill to have mine look that good. if it runs as good as it looks i don't see what he's complaining about. mine needs a few thousand dollars worth of work done to it...its basically a p.o.s at the moment but i still drive it every day with no engine or tranny problems. tell your dad hes crazy
-
cool story...makes me want to trade my xj for an eliminator
