  1. ok. I will post some pics of the floorpans from ebay.......they worked well for me......but I wasn't looking for perfection. Only have drivers side test fitted/cut.............didn't have to do too much to get them to fit.
  2. Here is the info I was using. It was from a 89' xj. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=921205 I didn't pull the cluster out of the jeep...this weekend I will do that
  3. That's what I will try first. But if for some reason I screw it up I want a backup
  4. I found the info.....Thanks
  5. OK. First of all I know it's illegal. But I just got a cluster with a tach (which mine was missing) but my odometer only has 59K miles on it and the new one has 200k miles on it. I remember reading a 'how to' somewhere. I searched but couldn't find it. Has anyone seen it and know where it is? Thanks
  6. $245 RC 3" lift from www.ironrockoffroad.com you need to call to order it's not on there site.
  7. HAPPY B-DAY :dunce:  :clapping:
  8. Thanks for the offer. I am going to try and find what size I need in the shop manual. Hopefully its in there. Anyone know what size the vacuum tube hose is coming out of the football thing in the bmber....the smaller of the two
  9. Crap. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDeta ... Code=3604C This stuff won't work in the correct size?
  10. OK. I looked at my vacuum lines. The two smaller ones that go into the firewall. One is black and one is pink or maybe a faded red. Well the black one had a hole in it and when i tried looking at it it broke in two. So my question is do they just pull it out of the firewall? And the connector under the hood or do you buy them with the connectors on them?
  11. Erik I was going crazy also looking for my brake light issue. All other lights worked after I sanded down the rusty ground behind the rear driver side tail light. I think there must have been a meltdown by the looks of some of my wires by the fuse box. I plan on trying to pull it out and see if any other damage is there so that I don't have any future issues. Seems like wires melting is common in the MJ. Did you try cleaning up your ground in the tail light it could be as simple as that.

    funny email

I'm at work crying as I can't stop laughing :teehee:
  13. somthing like this? http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/projects/co ... /rear7.jpg http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/projects/comanche/armor/
  14. My light issue was that the PO pulled the wire out of the fuse box and it was just hanging there. Didn't realize what wire it was for until I looked at a schematic.
  15. Great Hats, can coozies, and can't wait to put my sticker on the MJ Pete, thanks again.....
  16. WOW. Thanks for all your advice. From what the majority is saying I will be OK with the 4" backspacing. Unless I'm reading it wrong. Thanks again. I always love to read the tire threads.
  17. Doesn't the use of less backspacing bring your tires out further. I guess my concern is rubbing the wheels flares in the front and back. So a 4" BS should be OK?
  18. Just purchased: RC 3" lift 31x10.5x15 tires Want to get: Crager Soft 8s 15x8 with 4.75" backspacing Question: I already know with the stock Wheels the LCR can rub. My question is with cahnging the backspacing by 1/2" from stock am I creating a new issue with the flares rubbing. I don't want to cut the fenders. Any issue with the back?
  19. Just bought a set off ebay. I will do a test fit today or tomorrow and send some pics out. I think they match up OK but you can't go past the drivers seat front with them (at least not without some mods)
  20. Erik The person I know is Gayle.
  21. Erik I'm sorry about your loss. I have two Jack Russell's and a $#!&z Tsu and absolutely dread the day they have to leave me. I lost my Lab 2 years ago and still think of her and her silly things she did. If you think you are going to get another boxer let me know. I have friends that work at the SPCA and one that works at the boxer rescue. Diane
  22. I would say the ground behind the drivers tailight. That was my problem or isn't there a brake sensor by the brake pedal that triggers the lights?
  23. Hopefully the new cluster will have that gauge or someone has a spare one for sale
  24. I think this must have been the only option the truck had except for maybe a radio (if that was an option). JeepcoMJ let me know what you find in your 'cluster stash'
  25. Ya, I found a northern truck with very little rust (all small surface rust) but floors need replacement with 59,000 miles. Carfax showed milage to be correct. That's why I think I may want to change out the speedo if it is possible into the new cluster. I still haven't put pictures up so maybe this weekend
