Hmmmm. I always thought my door hinges had the worst welds. Now I know why. I actually thought they were re-welded. They look like they are going to fall off but don't sag. Thanks for the info.
I plan on putting new fuel injectors as well as Oxygen sensor in when the weather breaks. Truck only has 59k original miles and no rust except for floor, very unusual for a northern truck. And you are a very lucky person not to have your MJ go up in smoke. To be honest I'm suprised it ran. Last year on my sierra I was plowing and my plow pinched the hot wire against the plow frame and melted the entire plow wiring harness which melted thru my truck battery. Luckily I was able to jump out of the truck and cut the red hot wire. Needless to say the fuse wasn't hooked up correctly and never tripped. Thank god no other issues because it was a lease.
Ever since I bought my MJ when I start it I need to pump the gas pedal once or twice to get it to start. Is it the fuel pump or sending unit? Or neither. :dunno:
offroader461 you just used the mj bench floor brackets and bolted them up to xj buckets? That sounds like the way to go. I have a bench in my
mj and bought some mj buckets but may want to get xj's instead. Thanks everyone for the info

My voltage gauge reads about 12v is this correct I know most new cars read 14v. Only asking cause I just had a new alternator installed and wanted to make sure everything is OK?
Not to hijack but where is the other screw? I am trying to get mine off to replace it, by the way my screw bracket is also broke and it moves around guess it is a common issue.
I don't have air so maybe the round one is for those of us with no air. Seem like I have one connector type wire and one hose type (which I would assume to be the vacuum hose)
I have heat in the cab but only on passenger side feet and defrost. Is there a hose that may have come off? Or is it a vacuum issue? Also doesn't seem like the heater control works well as far as changing between vents, defrost, ect
