  1. Drilling out the rivets was the hardest part for me, I just bolted the xj buckets in using the bench seat brackets. Broke a few drill bits but overall not super difficult to do.
  2. Mine does this as well. (86 2.5 4spd) I just manually turn on and off to get faster speeds. I could use help with this as well.

    What Did You Get?

I got a new case knife from my father and the always useful 50 dollar Autozone giftcard.
  4. Thanks for the input guys. I bought a cheaper set from a different yard. Went to the original and the guys who worked there could have been Carl from sling blades brothers and rude as all get out! Found what I wanted elsewhere.
  5. Bought buckets, console and new front and rear bumpers today. Got seats cheap so while dirty... They will have covers over them anyway and have no rips or tears. The bench I took out had a large rip on the drivers Side And a useless middle seatbelt( truck is a 4 speed). Not done yet but here is where I am so far! .
  6. Thanks guys, haven't dealt with the junkyard guys much before. Will keep looking, may still try for the console but get a better deal.
  7. A local Junkyard priced me two very clean bucket Cherokee seats and the mounts as well as a small console for 150.00 good deal? This is a totally untouched jeep he has, any other parts I should get that may be worth it?
  8. Rattle can painted. I wasn't satisfied so redoing in white, will post pics!
  9. I use that app and it is well with the money makes this forum a lot more fun!
  10. Haha! I creeped the forum the last two weeks and the rusty floorboards are the biggest worry. Not falling on deaf ear. Checked it and they are solid. Lucky to get such a clean truck. Plans are to do do the 97 interior Cherokee swap at some point. Would like to do the same to the MJ's front end as well. I have been on C-list looking for a whole donor.
  11. In Fayetteville. Where is your family?
  12. Here is mine after a horrible rattle job. I would not do it again. I will be redoing it when I get a warmer day off. Be kind...I know it looks rough Never did front bumper.
  13. I will update as I work. Having new bumper fabbed first. Stock one is shot.
  14. Original ad on C-list. Asking 1200 and got for 900.00 2.5 /2wd/ 136,000 original miles!
