Well I really don't care about the power option. So Can I just put the mj pedestals on the buckets? Anyone want the power stuff if I can Switch em?

Alo ,I just got two power buckets out of a 92 cherokee to replace my bench. Do guys know if the bolts are going to line up or should I just plan on putting the bench brackets on the buckets?

All you need to do is unscrew the indicator out of your old cluster and screw it to the new one in the same spot. Just cut out the bottom of the gauge. Rubi made a nice square. I just chopped the whole bottom off with a sharp blade. I'll try and take a picture today. The indicator is connected to the steering culumn by a string and a clip. You'll see what I mean when you take the old cluster out. It's real simple.

gsOMEONE ELSE told me to do this. Unplug the hose to the airbox and let the oil drain into an empty container. I did it , cleaned out my airbox and changed the filter. No more oil in the airbox. Just remember to empty the container when it fills.

I live about 1 hour from there. Anybody going there anytime soon?

I haven't tried it yet but two mechanics in my area told me to grease the speedo cable. If you do it' let me know if it works.

Kay, so if I have an 88 4.0 auto should there be any specific year cherokee I should pull it out of or does it not really matter

Question, why does the light on the left side of my dash say "part time" instead of "full time" when I put it in 4 high?

Ok now my left brake lights/signal is not working or flashing extremely dim. Changed the bulbs, didn't help. Anybody got any ideas?

I just replaced every wire in my 88. I took every wire out of a cherokee and swaped it. Paid 150 at the junker.

The brakes are now fixed. We changed the master cylinder and everything thing works well. Now I went to pull out and my left brake light don't work and neither does the turn signal. So took the bulbs out and replaced them with new ones. with the lense off I noticed it's blinking when i hit the signal but very weakly, same thing with the brake lights. The right set of light work perfectly. Anybody got any suggestions? By the way they were working perfectly earlier today.

Great I might take you up on that cluster. Next problem. :redX: Front brakes do not release under normal heat conditions. Rear brakes are freed up. front brakes drag. Has new rotors , pads and calipers, new front brake hoses. When I bought the truck and took the wheels off, we found that the calipers were reversed and upside down. So off the top of your head do you think I need new calipers, master cylinder, or a new equalizer valve?

The speedo is cable driven. I think it'sa 92 only because the guy from ebay said so. It might not be. The oil pressure gauge doesn't work because the cicuit board on the back is broken. So how do I find out what sending unit I need If I don't know the year for sure. Oh and yes its a 4.0. How to you swap the sending unit. Does it require splicing more stinkin wires together? Last question, any special place I should get them?

Hey I have an 88 manche. I just switched the cluster to a 92 xj that had a tach. How do I get the temp gauge to work. the 88 had a idiot light in its place.

Wait I got that same stinkin blow by.and dumb @$$ leek too coming out of the air box. Do you mean just keep cleaning it so it doesn't accumalate or did you figure out a way to get it to stop shooting oil up that pipe without replacing a ring.
