Tyler C
Ok, stupid question here, but what size are the steering box bolts? (I believe they are metric, am I right?) I hate to have a question like this be my first post, but the search didn't turn up anything.
Motion Offroad
The steering pump and bracket to the motor, and they're a fun mix of 13mm and 9/16". As far as the box goes they are 16mm. The two lines connecting to the box take an 18mm wrench, and if you've got a stubby wrench, that would certainly come in handy. The steering shaft is clamped onto the input shaft of the steering box with a 13mm bolt
mvusse
Are you sure about the 9/16? 14mm and 9/16 are so close they can often be interchanged.

I've always used 9/16th as it fits the bolts better. If you can fit a 14mm on it than so be it. They are only .012 different in size...
Tyler C
Thanks, but I was referring to the pitch, and width of the threads for the bolts that connect the steering box to the frame. (I can probably figure the length out by myself, though :D )

They may have changed since then.

Or a combo of one or the other... Happy now? :D
richv
I asked this same question a couple of months ago. Mine ended up being 7/16 x 4".
