Steering box bolts

Recommended Posts

The steering pump and bracket to the motor, and they're a fun mix of 13mm and 9/16".

As far as the box goes they are 16mm. The two lines connecting to the box take an 18mm wrench, and if you've got a stubby wrench, that would certainly come in handy.

The steering shaft is clamped onto the input shaft of the steering box with a 13mm bolt

I'm pretty sure they're 1/2 and 9/16. At least they were when I futsed with them. They may have changed since then.

Once again, 1/2" and 13mm are close.

1/2" = .500 and 13mm = .512

So I guess to make it "fare" to everyone... you can use 13mm and 14mm OR you can use 1/2" and 9/16". Or a combo of one or the other...

Happy now? :D
