dunl
Anyone? Or is there a power steering upgrade to be had out there, as mine will probably need replaced....
Pete M
Yes, the Durango box is supposed to be a good upgrade to the Jeep boxes. There's a post somewhere on NAXJA about it. I'm not at home so I don't have my saved addresses. If you haven't found it by Tuesday I'll post it when I get home.
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW
I know it works on the 4.0L but I am not sure about the 2.5L.
Pete M
As far as I know, the 2.5 and 4.0 share power steering boxes.
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW
As far as I know, the 2.5 and 4.0 share power steering boxes. I'm not 100% sure about that.... I know when I added the AGR pump to my XJ I had to order specifically for the 4.0L. Maybe it was just an AGR thing but I think that they are a bit different. What that difference is I am not sure of. Maybe someone else can confirm???
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW
Eh, ignore my posts above... The more I thought about it, I was thinking about the pumps not the box itself. I can confirm that the pumps are different, the boxes however are the same. I guess to many sleepless nights with a newborn is getting to me...
johnnyc
When you buy the steering box, you should specify a 99 V8 Durango 4X4.
