ridenlow12
If I have the number tag off of my axle where can I go to type it in and find out what gears are in the dang thing?
Pete M
Wost case scenario, a calculator is all you need. You're looking for either a literal "4 10", "3 55", etc on the tag, or you'll find the tooth count for the pinion and ring gear, "41 10", "39 11", etc, and then divide. 39 divided by 11 gives a 3.54 ratio. ridenlow12
from what I can find is 8953000393 and 3 54 46 18 I know nothing about gears
mjeff87
from what I can find is 8953000393 and 3 54 46 18 I know nothing about gears ratio = 3.54 that "18" is actually a "13", and the "46 13" are the tooth counts of the ring and pinion gear. Divide the ring by the pinion, 46/13, and you get 3.54. Jeff
