comancheman
got my new injectors in the mail today and was just wondering what the difference is in them. they all come labeled 1 through 6 but whats makes an injector better for cyl-1 than it would be for cyl-5. hope that makes sense. chicofuentes0224
Nothing, I think you mean the ones from precision. The labeling is just to show you what the injector flow rate is. They should have sent you a sheet that says what each injector is rated. The number on the sheet corresponds to the number on the injector. I think that's what you mean. mjeff87
I'll be purchasing a set of them when I get back from vacation....lemme know how they work out. Nobody who's bought them so far has had anything but good to say about them, which is a good thing :D Jeff
CWLONGSHOT
I finally threw mine in today. Went well until I snapped off one of the hard vac lines... REMEMBER THEY GET BRITTLE WITH AGE!!! It was a easy fix as it broke where it enters the TB. I removed the socket and broken hose. There was enough slack by simply swapping ends and re inserting. Idles WAY smoother. Seems to tach up a tad faster as well. Just filled up Fri so I will CK fuel numbers over the next two weeks. CW
Imperial21
did you get the Ford 5.0L ones or the stock Jeep ones? I read somewhere the the Ford ones have a wider spray patern. Saw a set of 23lbs/hr Ford ones on FleaBay the other day. :Canadaflag:

BLHTAZ
The 23lb injectors are to high of a flow rate for our MJ's unless you have a Stroker. You need a 19lb for the 4.0L engines up to 1995. The injectors do not actually come from me. I just met the guy that owns the company while he was down here in FL (he is in NY now) and he was very cool and helped me out by actually bringing a set to my house for me when I bought them on eBay so I decided to help him out a little by doing some advertising for him in return for his kindness ;) . Remember...you must buy from his website and use the discount code " JEEP " for 10% off at checkout. www.precisionautoinjectors.com The discount does not work if buy from him on eBay. They work GREAT...what a great deal! I did use the "jeep" discount too. Thanks for the heads up on this one. MY jeep is running awesome. Better performance/acceleration. Very smooth...and to my suprise, a little faster smoother start up?! Install was very very smooth, being careful with the o-rings. I did not use a o-ring repair kit at the regulator or the fuel supply line at the end of the rail. They were just fine, and I coated them in synthetic motor oil....I actually coated all the o-rings wtih oil (ones that come on new injectors too). No leaks...everything is GREAT. Thanks again!
135Boom
............my old ones (original 18 year old 188k injectors) were not in the best of condition. The outer part of the port was coated in thick black. Injectors were pretty clean from the outside, but YEAH....I'd say I was due! haha
BLHTAZ
There is really no way to tell what they came out of as he has suppliers from several different states that ship him the used injectors then he and his father rebuild them.

Just curious, no biggy. I have seen/read on here 4.6L and 5.0....was just curious if that was accurate
BLHTAZ
They will most likely come out of either a 4.6L or 5.0L, so yes...you are correct in that. Sorry I misunderstood what you were asking ;) .
