aw-4 atf capacity

just doing a drain and fill. how much do i fill? i think its 3.5qts but not positive. also gona be throwing in a bottle of lucas tranny conditioner.

The manual says it takes about 4 quarts if you drain/refill the oil pan. I've been doing 4, and it seems to work.

thanks Twisty. Motion thats a nicce chart but the tranny isnt completely empty, good info to have though

You are about right with the 3 1/2 qts, but the longer you leave the drainplug out, the more will drain out of the TC, and out of the trans. The more the better. Pull the plug and let it drain overnight.
