richv
Does anybody know the size(s) of the bolts that hold the power steering box to the frame on an MJ? This morning I learned that there was only one bolt in mine when it broke as I was pulling into the parking lot at work. I'd like to get it bolted back up so I can steer it into a better spot where I can check for damage. Thanks.
richv
Never mind - I found it. They are 7/16 x 4" grade 8.
mvusse
Are you positive? My 87 MJ is all metric.

richv
Yes, they are definitely 7/16-14 thread. I took this "opportunity" to upgrade to the Durango steering box. So far so good.
