702_MJ
A trans hose came apart on my truck and i don't know how to fix it. Its a hose that goes to the external trans kooler. It came right out of that crimped sleeve. I need to know what i can do? here's the options i was gonna take..... 1. put a clamp on the crimp sleeve thing and clamp it until its really tight on the hose and see if that works. some ghetto stuff right there. 2. Or if that fails cut right befor the sleeve thing and flare out the tube and then put the hose over it and just clamp it down and pray to the jeep gods it can get me to and from work. Also is there any where i can find just a new line?

Just order new lines or fittings you need- http://www.rockauto.com What ever you try to fix the quick connect lines, they will not last, just replace them and be done with it ;)

TNT
You can just cut the crips off and replace the hose. Make sure you use hose is for trans fluid. Use fuel injection type clamps so they don't cut into the rubber. As long as the tubes are good there is no reason to replace the whole line. The crimps are done because it is faster in production. If a quick disconnect fails Napa should have them.
