88JeepManche
Ok so all my parts are in for the lift. What all needs disconnected to lower the axle enough to let the spring have enough room to put the spacer in? Basically i want to do this with out a spring compressor. I know the sway bar and UCA's need unbolted. Do the LCA's? Anything else i am forgetting?
89eliminator
shocks, caliper (make sure that its supported after you take it off, don't let it dangle). if i remember correctly, i put in my 2in spacers with the lowers and uppers still attached. just jack up the truck high, put jackstands under the frame side lower control arm mount and lower the jack. mjeff87
sway bar links too....and if you don't get enough droop that way, use a bottle jack on top of the axle to push it down furthur and hold it in place while you slip the spring out/in. I've got a pic somewhere....lemme see if I can find it so you can see what I'm talking about. Jeff edit: Image Not Found
