trippnk
I found http://charleston.craigslist.org/pts/531772571.html Would that be worth the money when I do my 4x4 conversion or should I just stick with the tcase out of an XJ? Can get them for about the same price so which ever is easier would be perfered. Thanks, Kendal
bhorocks
you should be able to find a 231 for a good price at a pick and pull. I can get one for 75 dollars on half price day. I would stick with the jeep 231. I doubt that 208 is going to work. different input and bolt pattern perhaps. why waste your money on something you are not sure will work. check novak adapters website they have alot if information on xfer cases tehre. tjbliley
I have a 207 I need to get rid of that came out of an MJ. It is for sale I just haven't gotten around to prepping it for sale. I could do that in the next week or so. Won't be much, cause I am just selling old parts to offset my jeep addiction, not make money.

Thanks for the offer of the tcase tjbliley NO! do you have a 4wd transmission? I sure hope so, because you're gonna be sorely disapointed when you figure out you can't bolt the t-case up to the 2wd case (output shaft and tail housing is different) so, you need a complete transmission. at which point you should be looking for a complete cherokee with the correct transmission for a good deal...that would be cheaper and give you everything you need. -Pat
