MTS Sending Units Back In Stock

I didn't know where to drop this info, so I'm putting it here.  I've had my sending unit ordered since August of last year.  On the phone just now, Austin at MTS told me that they have the JPSU-6 units for the 4.0 back in stock.  Pricing is a little over $100.  (Sending unit only, that price does not include the pump.)   The 2.5 units are still being redesigned and aren't quite ready yet.

I wonder why that is? The sending units are the same for both engines. It’s the pump that’s different supposedly. And of course we have the two different capacities.

Austin did a little explaining, but I didn't really pay that much attention, as it didn't affect my 4.0 application.  He spoke of wiring and mounting issues though.

Great to know. I’m on the list but haven’t gotten a call yet. I don’t need a SU right now but I may pick one up just to have a replacement later. Thanks for the heads up.
