hgeranium
Anyone have experience with restoring/refinishing specifically the 10 hole wheels? Previous owner(s) left a few of the wheels with minor curb rash and that fake bead lock on a few of the wheels is losing its finish and showing black underneath. pizzaman09
I had the 10 hole Eliminator wheels on my truck refinished locally. Mine are the ones with the rivets around the perimeter. The refinisher hand sanded them then painted them the original color, turned out real nice. He didn't want to use a machine to do the sanding due to the rivets. I was worried a shop wouldn’t want to touch them for whatever reason especially with the rivets. Thanks for the input

What sort of shop does this kind of work? Something like a wheel repair shop? I'll look into shops in my hometown once I graduate this spring. pizzaman09
I'm not exactly sure, the place that did mine was a car detailing business. But the person who ran it started to specialize in rims. I had basically googled rim refinishing and found the place.
Red Mistress
I had my Eliminator wheels done by "Wheels America" in Dallas, TX. They pulled out rivets, machined & then polished, put new rivets in and clear coated. Pics are in my build thread.
