blusteve
In the process of purchasing a 92 shortbed,5 speed,4x4 with 80,000 miles, no rust. will need paint but I want to put a lift on first.. Would like to run 32" bfg At tires for the street. How much lift will I need?, What lift is recommended? Was thinking Hellcreek 4.5 inch rear with RE 4.5 front, If I use this combo will I need a SYE? Will not be used for trailriding, have other jeeps for that. Just what the jeep to look and ride ngood on the street
FxRacing282
yeah 4.5'' will work fine. i assume your going to get a new leaf pack instead of doing an SOA swap?
blusteve
yes, just looking for something to make the comanche ride ok and look good, not interested in taking this off-rod, have other built jeeps for that. This will haul stuff to the farm and tow jet skis. Just wanted to make sure 4.5 will clear 32's. also what LCA does anyone recommend
89eliminator
i would get adjustable control arms. like rubicon express, don't get rustys.
BLHTAZ
4.5" kit will do you well and I agree on the RE adjustable control arms as too  I have the Hell Creek 3" leaf springs and the RE 3.5" kit. Love the Hell Creek springs :D . With the SWB truck, you may need the SYE, but I don't think I would worry about it to start with since it is going to be a street truck. If you get vibes, then you may have to consider it. You will probably have to put some 2 degree shims on the rear axle to move the pinion up just a bit to help avoid vibes.
