blusteve Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 In the process of purchasing a 92 shortbed,5 speed,4x4 with 80,000 miles, no rust. will need paint but I want to put a lift on first.. Would like to run 32" bfg At tires for the street. How much lift will I need?, What lift is recommended? Was thinking Hellcreek 4.5 inch rear with RE 4.5 front, If I use this combo will I need a SYE? Will not be used for trailriding, have other jeeps for that. Just what the jeep to look and ride ngood on the street

This will haul stuff to the farm and tow jet skis. Just wanted to make sure 4.5 will clear 32's. also what LCA does anyone recommend

Love the Hell Creek springs :D . With the SWB truck, you may need the SYE, but I don't think I would worry about it to start with since it is going to be a street truck. If you get vibes, then you may have to consider it. You will probably have to put some 2 degree shims on the rear axle to move the pinion up just a bit to help avoid vibes.
