Please if you all will can you pm or e-mail me your photos of your stock or close to stock 2.5L engine bays of your MJs? I'm going to be replacing a few things under the hood and I have no clue what is supposed to look like since the PO had tinkered with a few things. For example vac lines going to and from valve cover and what not.

Here's a couple from my 88 2.5 2wd. I shrank them by half. If these don't help I can send you the big ones.

well what he posted will most likely be exactly what I need. The vac lines seem to be in the right place. Only problem is the connectors that go into the valve cover are wrong but as far as I know there is no way to get exact new ones. I'll take a picture of what I have going on so you'll have a better understanding. At the moment my truck is making a loud howl sound almost bird like I suppose. I wanna say its comming from the valve cover but I can't find exactly where on earth it is comming from.

I really don't know any more. I just know each time I look under the hood or put oil in it something doesn't seem right. I dunno but this is the best I can get at the moment. maybe someone will see something that I keep over looking. That red and white wire that comes off the battery and over the motor is for the fog lights. At the time I didn't think of anything better and thats what I came up with.

That chrom thing on the valve cover was a PCV valve since the one that was there was shot and the rubber o-ring torn. I say was because that didn't help so I moddifyed it so it would stop build pressure. Before I did that you could see the valve cover sink in each time I hooked the lines up. When I got the truck the PO had both front and rear lines going into bottles thats it.
