Pete M
sooooooooo.... after much struggle I got the old one out and discovered a different thread for the attachment point of the upper hose. do I have the wrong accumulator? Or is there an adapter out there I'm missing?
Pete M
so morning has given me a clearer head and I noticed I still had one piece to remove from the hose. problem is that I'm still stuck needing some sort of swiveling adapter. any idea what it's called that I need? this is what I'm currently working with:
ghetdjc320
Is that not where a t would go for your pressure sensor or do you have that mounted elsewhere?
Pete M
just a straight connection here.
ghetdjc320
Looks like just a standard #6 female to female ac connection should work

ghetdjc320
This is what the thread fitting should look like going into the dryer. Assuming the thread is 5/8 and not 3/4 https://coldhose.com/products/6-straight-o-ring-fitting-1?variant=35531641585824

Yeah, I’ve not seen a hose fitting that is a coupler for AC hoses. Looks like either a dryer or hose swap is in order
Pete M
when I get back to GA I'll check what my other trucks have, but I fear this truck will need a new hose made.
