70barracuda
Need some help for rear discs on my 8.25. Currently running the grand Cherokee disc brake upgrade and while I love it, I'd really like to get a wilwood set up to match the front. They offer a kit for the d35 and the 8 3/4. I know the disc set up off the grand Cherokee is a d35 so in my head the one from Wildwood should work. Also apparently 8 1/4 and 8 3/4 brakes are interchangeable so that also should work with one of their kits. I'm I missing anything why this wouldn't work? pizzaman09
My experience with Wildwood brakes is there are just a handful of different calipers with a massive pile of adapters to mount them to every application imaginable. It sounds alike you've got it thought out correctly. I'd recommend fitting a caliper before opening all of your boxes and just make sure it will all bolt up and fit over the rotor correctly. 70barracuda
I'm working on my buddies 66 charger that we swapped from a 8 1/4 to 8 3/4 and the brakes off the 1/4 fit right on the 3/4, which is what got me thinking about this. May buy the kit and if it doesn't work sell it off to him for his.
