fuel line repair kit

cannot for the life of me make this fuel line fit back on the rail, ive bought 3 or 4 fuel line repair kits , part number HK7 from STANDARD, and its just not happening any ideas before I just go make a new fuel line with doorman connectors and hose clamps

Had the same problem. Silicone lubricant or Vasoline

Make sure that there are no old pieces inside the hose end if you haven't already?
