Dandxj
Just curious, has anyone made a CPS hole cover on their printer? I know they are not necessary but one would be nice to have especially to prevent the bolt from falling in with the converter during removal / installation. I was thinking of having my grandson try to print one but I would really need an original to copy. I know there is a difference between the RENIX and HO covers. I bought one several years back and they sent me a HO cover and I need a RENIX cover. Again just curious
cruiser54
Here's how to keep from dropping the CPS during removal and installation. Electrical tape in the socket.
acfortier
I did the electrical tape method. There's actually still some stuck to the two bolts that I threaded in, lol. I'm swapping in a 32RH into my Eagle, which doesn't have a CPS, but the 32RH has a hole for it. I tried just a simple 3/4" plastic plug, but it doesn't really stay in the hole. The thickness of the bellhousing is the issue I think. @Dandxj, what hole covers are you referring to?
cruiser54
FYI, I have a copy of the AMC engineer's hand written parts list to put an AMC V8 into an Eagle.
