Elwiscon Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 So my 89 Comanche is at the shop getting some suspension work done. The mechanic says that the fuel and brake lines are corroded and will need to be replaced at some point, since I still need to do some interior work on it , give it a new paint job etc I rather do it now while it's at the mechanic shop and don't really want to spend a lot of time and money on custom-made line sets I rather get a kit, has anyone been able to get fuel and brake line kits? I checked with parts geek, rock auto etc and the debt have them, obviously don't want to get them at a junkyard, as they may be in the same or worse condition of what I have, not to mention how scarce 'manches are. Any ideas?....
howeitsdone Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Junkyard is your best bet for factory bent lines. Better to buy new lines and bend them though. A bender is less than $15. You'll need to flare them too.
